About Me

Warning

There will be moments of total darkness and mild flashing imagery.

[Video Description: The video begins in total darkness and fades into imagery of people from diverse cultures interacting with one another. Through most moments of narration, the video dips into moments of darkness to add further poignance and a level of intimacy to the subject. Through the water bottle projector, the film appears distorted, while refracting beautiful shapes and colours from the images.]

Day Three

Caroline Orrell

I believe that it is time for a social renewal. A renewal of the way we communicate and interact with one another. A way of co-existing without judgement or prejudice.

If you're willing to help us move forward to a more peaceful and kind future, then get involved with this evening's interactive premiere. Create a unique installation in your own home and be a part of the live experience, watching in unison with others around the world.

Find yourself an empty water bottle (2litre works best) and fill it about 1/3 full with water.

(If you don't have a bottle, you can use a glass the same way, however, the final result won't be as clear)

Step 2

Build your phone stand - all you need is a piece of paper!

Click bellow to follow a tutorial to make your origami phone stand.

Step 3

Set up your projector by placing your phone in the stand facing the bottle and in landscape orientation. Place the phone stand so that the point sits under the indent of the bottle and position your projector in front of a white wall. This can be on a desk, on the floor, anywhere you want! It's your installation!

Step 4
